Socionext developed ARM based CPU chip, named ‘SynQuacer’, it contains 24 cores of Cortex-A53.

This CPU chip is very high power efficiency, and suitable for various application, from IoT area to Cloud.
It also has scalability by connecting multi CPUs through Socionext DDT(Direct Data Transaction) up to 64 CPUs,
and there is further possibility of connecting much more nodes.

This time, Linaro, Gigabyte and Socionext are propose ARM native development machine which contains SynQuacer,
and this is 1st choice of 64bit architecture development environment.

Background:
In 1975, Yasuo Nishiguchi Joined Kyoto Ceramic Company (now Kyocera Corporation), in 1999 he became President of Kyocera Corporation, and in 2005 Chairman and CEO of Kyocera Corporation. In 2009 he completed his Ph.D. in Management of Technology at the Graduate School of Policy and Management Doshisha University. In 2015, Yasuo became Chairman and CEO of Socionext.
