Session Abstract

Devicetree remains an important part of the boot architecture for many ARM SOCs. In this Birds of a Feather session, attendees are encouraged to ask questions or suggest topics. What problem areas do you have? What are your suggestions for improvement to the Devicetree state of the art? The speakers from the Devicetree State of the Union session will be available to help guide the discussion.

Bill Mills

Linaro (Principal Technical Consultant)

Bill Mills has been professionally active in embedded systems for 34 years. He has been the lead developer on debugger/emulator, RTOS kernel, VoIP, and many other projects. He has been focused on Embedded Linux strategy for 12 years and is a founding member of the Yocto Project.

Stefano Stabellini

Xilinx (Xen Maintainer, Principal Engineer at Xilinx)

Stefano Stabellini serves as system software architect and virtualization lead at Xilinx, the world's largest supplier of FPGA solutions. Previously, at Aporeto, he created a virtualization-based security solution for containers and authored several security articles. As Senior Principal Software Engineer in Citrix, he led a small group of passionate engineers working on Open Source projects. Stefano has been involved in Xen development since 2007. He created libxenlight in November 2009 and started the Xen port to ARM with virtualization extensions in 2011. Today he is a Xen Project committer, and he maintains Xen on ARM and Xen support in Linux and QEMU.
